The Association of Allan Gray Fellows is a Fellow-led organisation and all members are encouraged to take part in the leadership and events. To join a portfolio, simply contact the relevant Vice-President and get involved in their latest activities. You will also be kept abreast with updates through the monthly Foundation e-zine.

No, the Association of Allan Gray Fellows does not invest in or fund any enterprise ideas but rather seeks to support the endeavours of the Allan Gray Fellows in their efforts to start enterprises of their own. Allan Gray Fellows have access to E2, which looks to be a venture capital channel for any ideas emanating from the Association of Allan Gray Fellows. It is intended that E2 partner with the Association to support Fellows in the formative stage of their business.

How do I apply to the Association of Allan Gray Fellows for funding to study further?

The Post-Graduate Fund is for the limited to financial support of the members of the Association of Allan Gray Fellows. A Fellow is eligible to apply for Post-Graduate Funding if they have an academic aggregate of 70% over the duration of their undergraduate studies, and is also able to motivate how the qualification supports their long-term goals. Fellows that wish to apply for funding may contact the Association Director for the application forms, which are reviewed by the Post-Graduate Funding Committee, who in turn make recommendations to the Board.

Will I be covered for international study?

The Post-Graduate Fund is limited to academic study at a tertiary institution recognised by the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation. These include LLB, and CTA, but excludes CFA.
