2010 is a great opportunity for movers and shakers in SA. Allan Gray Orbis Foundation is offering SA’s most talented 1st Year students a striking opportunity to join our Fellowship Programme.
If you, or someone you know exhibits the following qualities:
- Excited about the future of our country.
- Has an academic average of at least 65%.
- Has a passion for leadership excellence.
- Has a flair for creating change through entrepreneurial activity.
And meets the following criteria:
- Current 1st Year at UCT, UWC, WITS, UP, UJ, Rhodes or NMMU
- Studying any Commerce, Science (excluding Medicine), Engineering degree or
- Humanities field (majoring in Politics, Philosophy or Economics)

We also have an exciting competition which 1st year students at participating universities can enter. Beyond the Game encourages 1st year students to submit their on-campus entrepreneurial ideas which are sustainable beyond the end of the 2010 Soccer World Cup. We hope to encourage individuals to take a long term view of their future by applying for an Allan Gray Fellowship, as well as get them to think about ideas and problem solutions which have significance and impact beyond a singular event.
